Lizzie Kate's 18 Month Check Up!!
Lizzie Kate went for her 18 month check up, yesterday. She weighs 19 pounds and 10 ounces, which means she gained 1 pound 10 ounces since January 05, 2009. She is 30 1/2 inches tall. The Doctor was impressed with her weight gain and we are just going to keep going back every 6 weeks for weight checks. She did say that she wants me to keep her on the 3 PediaSures per day. She said that when she gains some more weight we may try and back off and see what happens. The doctor was impressed at her talking even though she doesn't talk any where near what Hayden was at this age. He was almost talking in sentences. Anyway, Hayden got on the scale while we were waiting and he weighs 36 pounds!! Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Traumatic Day!!
Well, this morning started of pretty normal. But, let's just say it wasn't anywhere near normal!! This morning while I was getting ready to go shopping with my Mom, I heard this really loud crash that resulted in both of my children SCREAMING!! I ran in Hayden's room and his Chest of Drawers and TV are both completely turned over and Lizzie Kate is in the floor screaming while Hayden, is sitting in the chair crying. Lizzie Kate apparently climbed up in the second drawer of the chest and turned the whole thing over on herself. She was half in the drawer when I got to her. I immediately called Jeremy and he came home from work and then I called my Mom, then the Pediatrician. I checked Lizzie Kate for broken bones and she acted ok. She was just very clingy (as you could imagine). When I spoke to the Doctor she said as long as her pupils were equal, she wasn't vomiting, and she could walk normally, then everything was fine and there was no reason to bring her into the office. I am just supposed to watch her for 24 hours. She perked up a good bit when MeMe got here. Lizzie Kate wanted MeMe to take her outside so, we put some clothes on her and out she went. She has a couple of scrapes on her face and on her back, her ears are both red, and she has a pinch mark with a blood blister on her finger. God really had his hands on her because if that TV would have landed on her the outcome would have been completely different. By the way, Hayden was crying because the show he was watching on the TV went off when she fell!! Please, continue to pray for her. I know she is going to be sore in the morning. Have a wonderful Friday!!

Lizzie Kate's GI Visit!!
Well, I guess we got good news, yesterday. Dr. Thame said that everything came back normal. I don't know what the crap this means??? I am more confused than ever. Back in December, Dr. Thame told me that some thing had to be wrong, that Lizzie Kate's Metabolism could not be that high. So, we gained a little more than a pound in 6 weeks which he thought was good. My question is why does it take 3 Pediasure's a day to make my child gain weight??? I spoke with my Pediatrician this morning and she said she doesn't get it either. She is going to refer us to and Endochrine Specialist to see if any of this has to do with her Growth Hormones. We shall see. I don't really know what to think at this point. My worry has not gone away and I don't think it will for a while. I just want to know for sure that everything is ok. Thank you for continuing to pray for our family!!
On another note, Hayden slept in his big boy bed last night. He did wonderful. I can't believe how big he is getting!!

Lots of Updates!!
It seems like forever since I have posted!! My life has been super crazy over the last week and a half!!
First of all, I want to say last week I had to witness something that seems so unfair. My friend Lorie (37) passed away and left a heartbroken husband and two of the sweetest little boys, Noah (2) and Zach (1) here on Earth. Cancer is a MONSTER and I HATE cancer!! Jeremy and I went to the Viewing at Double Oak Community Church and waited in line with the other 1,000 people that were there to pay respects to Lorie. That was a terrible night for me as I stood there and thought about how Daryl is going to have to take care of both of those boys by himself. I know he will have help from his Mom and Dad and extended family and friends. But, he now has to raise these boys without the help of his best friend. I am a Mommy and I take care of my kids every day but I can't even begin to imagine how I would do it with out Jeremy. Wednesday, was the Funeral and I really dreaded going by myself (Jeremy had to work). The service for Lorie was perfect. It was just what she wanted and Gold City was there to sing Lorie's theme song "I'll Walk On". What a wonderful song it is!! It just really seems unfair that God would take this precious woman to not get to watch her children grow up. But, it comforts me to know that she will watch over them from Heaven and she will be there to greet Daryl and the boys one day when they go to Heaven!! Lorie, I love you and miss you and I will always remember your strength and we will continue to pray for Daryl, Noah and Zach!!
Well, on another note, we are MOVED!! We started really moving on Thursday night, January 29, 2009. Jeremy loaded the van down on that Wednesday night, and we met him at work on Thursday and brought everything and got it all organized, then Jeremy said "Do you want to go get another load?" I said "Sure!!". We came back and got all of that unloaded and when we got home I was expecting to go to bed. That didn't happen. Jeremy started loading the van down again. So, Friday morning we head to the new house at 630 am. We get everything unloaded and we took J to work, then the kids and I went to the old house and got 3 more loads and brought them back over here. I got both of the kids beds by myself and got them in there rooms and put together. We slept at the new house on that Friday night and J and I slept on the floor. Jeremy got up early Saturday morning and went to the old house to meet Rodney (My Step Dad) and they got our bed, the mattress and box springs, and the riding lawn mower. We got new Living Room Furniture, a new Dining Room Table and Chairs, and Hayden got a new Big Boy Bed (Jeremy is putting Hayden's new furniture together while I am typing this). I can't believe my baby is going to sleep in a Big Boy Bed!!
All last week has just consisted of getting settled and finding a home for everything. Surprisingly everything feels normal. Everything is organized and has a new home. Saturday morning we were supposed to get up early and go pick up Hayden's new furniture and go to Brady's Birthday Party but when I went to get in the van on the passenger side, I noticed the tire was completely FLAT!! So, Jeremy took the tire off and I called around to find the best price on a tire. We had to go get that fixed and then we had to come all the way back home and get the trailer so we could go get his furniture. Needless to say, we did not get to go to Brady's party. Hayden was so disappointed. We did get the furniture and we had to go back to the old house to tie up some loose ends. Then we came back here and Jeremy and Hayden raked the leaves, Lizzie Kate took a nap, and I got ready for Jenn and Thomas' Tool and Pantry Party.
My Mom came and got the kids and we went to the Tool and Pantry Party. Jennifer and Thomas got a ton of stuff and they had an excellent turn out. We headed home after the party and Mom and Rodney brought the kids home for us. We were going to go to CrossPoint this morning but I have pulled a muscle in my shoulder and I am sick. We don't have much else to do, Jeremy is going to finish up with Hayden's furniture and we are taking Hayden to my Mom's house, in a little while. He is going to spend the night, Lizzie Kate has to be at the GastroIntologist at 915 in the morning. I will update tomorrow about her appointment. I will try and post some pictures soon!!
